Little Petra Valley

Little Petra Valley, also known as Siq al-Barid, is a smaller archaeological site located just a few kilometers north of Petra, Jordan. Hidden within the rugged landscape, this valley served as a vital agricultural and trade hub for the Nabataeans. With carved rock facades, cave dwellings, and water channels, Little Petra offers a quieter yet equally fascinating glimpse into the Nabataean civilization. The site is especially famous for its painted dining room and its more intimate and accessible atmosphere compared to the grandeur of Petra.
