Al-Dawsaq Castle, located near the Jordan Valley in the northern region of Jordan, is an ancient fortress that dates back to the Crusader and Ayyubid periods. Originally built by the Crusaders, the castle was later reinforced and expanded by Muslim rulers, reflecting its strategic importance in controlling trade and military routes between Jordan and neighboring regions. The fortress features thick stone walls, high towers, and remnants of defensive structures that highlight the architectural and military advancements of the time. Al-Dawsaq Castle, though largely in ruins, provides visitors with a glimpse into the historical conflicts and exchanges between different civilizations in Jordan's past. The surrounding landscape, with views of the Jordan Valley, adds to the castle's allure as a significant historical landmark.
