Dana Reserve / Wadi Al-Nawatif

Dana Biosphere Reserve is a remarkable area of natural beauty, history, and biodiversity. It is the only reserve in Jordan that covers the country's four bio-geographical zones: Mediterranean, Irano-Turanian, Saharo-Arabian, and Sudanian. This unique combination brings together species from Europe, Africa, and Asia, making it a hotspot for rare wildlife. The reserve is home to 800 plant species and 449 animal species, 25 of which are endangered, including the Sand Cat, Syrian Wolf, Lesser Kestrel, and Spiny Tailed Lizard.
