UNDERWATER MILITARY DIVE SITE

The Underwater Military Museum in Aqaba, Jordan, is a unique dive site featuring 21 decommissioned military vehicles, including tanks, armored personnel carriers, and a helicopter, arranged in tactical formation on the seabed. Situated at depths ranging from 15 to 28 meters, the site is accessible to divers of varying experience levels and is also suitable for snorkelers, with some exhibits positioned as shallow as 5 meters. Established by the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority (ASEZA) and opened in July 2019, the museum aims to create an artificial reef, promoting marine life growth and alleviating pressure on natural coral reefs. Divers can explore this underwater attraction either from the shore or by boat, experiencing a distinctive blend of military history and marine ecology.
