Araba Valley
Araba Valley, located in southern Jordan and north of Aqaba, is part of the Great Rift Valley that stretches from Turkey in the north to Kenya in the south. This vast geological feature also includes the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and the Red Sea. Covering an area of approximately 2,400 square kilometers between the Gulf of Aqaba in the south and Ghor Fifa in the north, Araba Valley makes up 2.4% of Jordan’s land area. The valley is dominated by a desert climate and encompasses key locations such as Qatar, Rahma, Risha, Abu Khashiba, Bir Madhkur, Qurayqira, and Feynan.
