Tel Sal

Tel Sal is an ancient Roman hill located in a region with a rich history and multiple uses over time. During the Roman era, the hill was used for surveillance and early warning purposes due to its elevated and strategic position. Later, a modern water reservoir was built atop it, though it is no longer in use. The hill also served as a cemetery for Muslims from the surrounding area, but burials have ceased due to a lack of space. In the past, Tel Sal was a gathering place for the elders of the village, who would sit for hours, engaging in conversations about daily matters. The hill is known for its stunning views, as it is the highest point in the village, offering a panoramic view of neighboring towns and even villages in Palestine from the top.
