Jordan Valley

The Jordan Valley has been a major agricultural hub for centuries, situated within the Great Rift Valley that extends from Turkey to East Africa. The Dead Sea, the lowest point on Earth, contrasts with the rich archaeological history of over 200 sites in the valley. About 10,000 years ago, much of the area was submerged under a saltwater sea, leaving behind the Dead Sea and Lake Tiberias. Today, the valley is a key source of agriculture in Jordan, with farmers utilizing modern technology to feed the growing population.
