Japanese Park

The Japanese Park in Amman's Abdoun district is a serene public space inspired by traditional Japanese garden design. Opened in July 2010 through a collaboration between the Greater Amman Municipality and the Japanese Embassy, the park features elements such as stone lanterns, koi ponds, bamboo groves, and a tea ceremony area, with materials sourced from Japan and Jordan's Dead Sea, Mafraq, and Petra regions. It offers a tranquil retreat from the city's bustle, ideal for leisurely walks, family outings, and cultural events that celebrate Japanese traditions.
