Ezwetti Initiative

The Ezwetti Initiative, founded in 2015 by social activist Mahmoud Nabulsi, is a non-profit initiative based in Amman, Jordan. Its mission is to promote social solidarity and economic support by providing free meals to those in need, including vulnerable groups and refugees, while maintaining their dignity. Operating on a "pay it forward" principle, patrons can pay for their own meals and choose to prepay for others in need. These prepaid meals are represented by cards on a "wall of kindness," which individuals can take and redeem for food without judgment. The initiative features traditional Jordanian dishes like hummus, falafel, and fuul, using high-quality, locally sourced ingredients to support local communities. Entirely volunteer-driven, Ezwetti fosters a sense of community and provides a model of compassion and social responsibility.
