When you visit, you'll feel like stepping back in time, surrounded by stone paths and ancient trees shading the courtyard. Here, you can enjoy a traditional breakfast like lazagiyat prepared by Umm Al-Laith, with the chance to buy natural Jerash labneh. Visitors can also join in cooking local Jordanian dishes such as makloubeh, mansaf, and makmoora, guided by local women. Don’t miss a walk in the nearby mountains, or take part in olive picking and citrus jam making if you visit during the season. Beit Khairat Souf is run by women from the community, who focus on sustainability and share leftover food with those in need. And your visit won’t be complete without tasting the unique oak coffee — a caffeine-free drink created by the women of the house.
