AlWihda Park

Al-Wahda Park is a public green space located in the Al Jandaweel neighborhood of Amman, Jordan. Managed by the Greater Amman Municipality, the park serves as a venue for community events and environmental initiatives. In February 2024, the Sri Lankan Embassy, in collaboration with the municipality, organized a tree-planting ceremony at the park to commemorate Sri Lanka's 76th Independence Day. Fifteen olive trees were planted, symbolizing the growing friendship between Jordan and Sri Lanka and emphasizing the importance of environmental conservation.
