For everyone who loves language conversations, the Abdul Hameed Shoman Public Library, in collaboration with Bla Bla Language Exchange, presents a session titled “Music and Our Memories,” an interactive dialogue space exploring the deep relationship between music and memories, and how a song can take us back to people, places, and moments that stay with us no matter how much time passes. Participants will share their stories and personal experiences with the music that accompanied different stages of their lives, and discuss how melodies become tied to feelings and memories, and how some songs become part of our personal and shared stories.
